The first step to a successful wildlife exclusion is to determine what animal it is that is causing the problem. Tufts Wildlife Services has years of experience with this process. We employ tactics such as identifying footprints, feces, and the nature of the damage caused by the animal. Once we have determined what animal is causing you trouble we will design a custom trapping and removal plan.
This is the part where we actually get rid of the animal that's making noise in your attic or getting into your trash at night. We employ interior trapping methods in the case of rats. In cases involving larger animals such as squirrels, raccoons, opossums, armadillos, iguanas, ducks, and snakes Tufts Wildlife Service Professionals will set and monitor live traps on the exterior of the structure. With Bats, Tufts Wildlife Services will employ a passive removal tactic using a one-way valve to ensure that no bats are killed or harmed during the removal process.
During the removal process we will seal and repair any entry points that may allow nuisance animals to reenter your home. The timing of the exclusion work will vary with what type of animals we are removing. Tufts Wildlife Services uses only high quality materials and methods to help solve your nuisance animal problem for good. We offer a one year renewable warranty on exclusion work and stand by our ability to keep nuisance animals out.
Once this exclusion process is complete, Tufts Wildlife Services will perform an attic sanitation. During this service we will remove any and all accessible feces and contaminants using a commercial grade vacuum equipped with a HEPA filtration system to avoid the spread of spores, bacteria, roundworm eggs, and other pathogens. Tufts Wildlife Services will then use a commercial atomizer to disperse hospital grade sanitizer throughout your attic to kill any remaining bacteria. This chemical is safe and effective when it comes to removing potential health threats as well as any scent trails or odors left behind by nuisance animals. This sanitation process imperative to ensure that your home doesn't have any residual odors and pheromone trails that may attract future nuisance animals.
One of the less glamorous tasks undertaken by Tufts Wildlife Services is locating and removing dead animals from your home and property. Unfortunately, some animals find their way into your home and perish before they can find their way back out for food and water. We all know how hot our attics get in Florida and you can only imagine how quickly the decomposition process begins to take effect. Trust us, you want the situation resolved as quickly as possible. Tufts Wildlife Services has years of experience in physically locating and removing the dead animal as well as cleaning and deodorizing the effected areas.
It is all too common for dead animals to turn up in your yard or on your property. Unfortunately, sometimes sick animals will seek shelter underneath a patio or porch and pass away. Other times, an animal will be injured by an automobile and pass away in your front yard or property. Tufts Wildlife Services will remove dead animals from the exterior of your home and decontaminate the area where the body rested.
These jobs can be tricky. It is very difficult to locate a dead animal inside a home. Many times the animals will go to the deepest crevices underneath the insulation in your attic to pass away. Other times rodents will fall into the gap within your walls and die of dehydration. Tufts Wildlife Services prides itself on our ability to locate these unfortunate animals and remove them from your home safely and efficiently. Once this corpse removal process is complete, Tufts Wildlife Services will perform an attic sanitation. During this service we will remove any and all accessible contaminants using a commercial grade vacuum equipped with a hepa filtration system to avoid the spread of spores and bacteria. Tufts Wildlife Services will then use a commercial atomizer to disperse hospital grade sanitizer throughout your attic to kill any remaining bacteria and rid your home of bad odors. This chemical is safe and effective when it comes to removing potential health threats as well as any odors left behind by deceased nuisance animals.
Unfortunately, sometimes the damage to your insulation is just too great. This is usually the case in older homes with older insulation or in cases where the nuisance animal infestation has been going on for a long time. The insulation may become totally saturated with animal urine and feces and can not be salvaged. It is also possible for animals to damage your insulation beyond repair by chewing or nesting. Tufts Wildlife Services will safely and effectively remove damaged insulation either by hand or using a commercial insulation vacuum. Once the insulation and organic material has been removed Tufts Wildlife Services will then fog out the attic using a commercial atomizer to ensure that every surface of your attic has been sanitized and is as clean as can be.
If you're in need of new insulation, look no further. Tufts Wildlife Services will remove any insulation damaged by nuisance animals, and replace it with new insulation. We can perform what is called a blow over (we'll add another few inches of fresh insulation over the existing layer in order to bring your insulation levels to recommended specifications). Sometimes however, all of your existing insulation must be removed and replaced with brand new insulation. Whether it is rolled fiberglass insulation, or blown in cellulose, Tufts Wildlife Services can meet your needs and help keep your home cool in this tropical weather.
